Default I’ve gotta leak

I have an 88 GT. Its leaking a red fluid really bad. Its coming from in b/n the front and rear cats. Its actually kind of at each pair of cats. Its a 5 speed, so whats this red fluid I have everywhere? Its also where the driveshaft comes into the transmission. Any help would be appreciated.

the red fluid that you are finding under your car, is dexatron (automatic trans fluid ) . i think it's coming from the rear tail shaft seal

Spike is probably right. Some people use atf in the manual trans. If thats not it check to see if the fan is blowing power steering fluid back at the exhaust and trans. More than likely its the tailshaft seal though

hey good call lloyd, i actually had that sh*t happen to me. if it's coming from the front of the trans, than it's either the front seal, or like what lloyd said, your fan is blowing power steering fluid back (a possible leak)

i figured it out. Its the main seal in the middle of the tranny and the seal at the drive shaft. Place wants to charge $450 to do it. Does that sound high?
