Default straight pipes?

A kid in town got a 03 gt vert and thought he would try to out do me and get straight pipes on. Well at the track I killed him and no matter were or when I hand his *** to him. He says he lost a lot of low end torque from the straight pipes plus it sounds like a hick truck. How true is this? how much power is lost?

I told him to do research before doing things to your stang. Research and patience go a long way.

What a RETARD. Tell him he's stupid and don't talk to him again, lol.

Not sure how much torque you lose, but its also HP too. He is losing so much back pressure. And I can only imagine how terrible it sounds. Im sure the #'s are on the internet somewhere, hopefully someone might know numbers.
