I keep reading that when they ship these they fold them.Doesnt that F@*# em up.Also can you paint these to match the color of your car? Also are the after market chin spoilers as good as the original factory ones?

Yes, they come folded....but if you let them sit out overnight they are fine. I just heated mine up with a hair dryer and it went back into perfect shape.

Yes, you can paint them body color...but you will need to use a really pliable paint because the chin spoilers are very flexible. And keep it mind...the chin spoilers take a lot of beating from rock chips and other things on the road...so I don't know if it is worth painting.

I ordered mine from Stang Suspension, and it was in a big box - not folded. It arrived in perfect condition - with all fasteners.

Well...when I got mine, it was an option to have it shipped in a big box but it cost extra. No need to pay more when it turns out the same.

I picked mine up from the dealer with all hardware. I assume it was before the "craze", but maybe not.

Thats just how they are made man. Even if you look on the Mach1's the lip isn't totally flush with the bumper. A lot of people say they are hard to find, but I see them on Ebay every now and again.

You can get them from Randy S (the Ford parts guy) on Modular Depot. Just scroll down to the Ford Parts forum and ask him...i just got one from him for $80 with the extra fasteners.
