get the stang. I have seen some nice lt1s but they are not really my favorite b/c of the nose. now, if it was a 98+ I would def say the camaro.

I've got both cars, well my Mustang is a '98, however I can safely say that those two cars would run about the same. I would recommend the Mustang however, as Mustangs have better fit, finish and build quality over the F-bodies. Also, that 4.6 is so smooth it reminds you just how primitive the LT-1 really is. In short, go with the Mustang as it's the better starting point for a faster car...

haha true. but still the mustang is the better choice. 10 years old to 4 years old. Plus the mustang is nicer looking. They are both equal in the 1/4. To me it looks like the mustang has the most plus's. Go with the stang.

if you do decide not to get a mustang... get a 98+ trans am cause the lt1's are good and all but the LS1's are the bad boys.... do do some looking into LS1's not the LT1's

i think you will find the mustang better on gas , insuranse , more reliable and longer lasting engine life and well , newer.
