anyone have 17X10.5 on the 03-04 cobra?

anyone have 17X10.5 on the 03-04 cobra?
i have a 03 cobra and was told that 17X10.5 wont fit on cobras unless you get a new irs bolt or shave your old one.. is there any thing else it takes to fit them on my cobra? any one know? im sure theres a few cobras with wider rims.. please help.. thanks
