Hmm ive been wondering about this to...it asks when you first program it, whether your car is an auto or a manual. If its an auto does it do anything to the shift points by it self ??

I read somewhere that in automatic cars the more instant (firm) of a shift the better it is on a transmition
not sure if that helps but a buddy of mine had his 01 gt (auto) set for the highest setting and he swears by it
