Default **Carbon Fiber Rear Seat Delete**

If you were in the market to buy a rear seat delete...and you came across a Carbon Fiber one, and you were interested...in all honesty, how much would you pay for it?

I want serious answers only. If you wouldn't buy one or you don't like carbon fiber, don't reply.

So...how much would you pay?

Thanks!

$50

J/k probably 300-400. but it really depends on how much of a weight difference it makes over a standard delete if I would even buy one.

I would want the ability to mount speekers in it and amps under it with vents for cooling and I would want it to fit like a glove not like the other ones's you see. It would have to be a very clean fit and still have the option of split or solid across and work like the back set does now, so when I go to the track I can put my DR's in there. Weight would be a major concern.

all that said and it fit they way my perfection *** is 300 is it was like all the others 100 maybe.

I agree. If it fit perfectly and provided for everything I wanted, I would say 300-400.

so you're going to remove the seats for weight loss then add more weight with a system? If you don't care about weight just do a custom fiberglass setup...and piece of plywood and some glass would do just fine

btw unless its somehow 50 lbs lighter than a normal seat delete....you won't get much more than 150 for one IMO

I'd love one if it was lightweight but strong enough to mount a 10lb No@ bottle to w/o fear of it sagging or breaking from the weight. I bought a rear seat delete from 50resto.com and it's a total piece of ****. I spent $120 buck on it and it's total garbage. You have to fab your own mounts and it won't hold the air in the car without sagging. The fit is **** too. 50resto can kiss my @ss! Rear seat deletes are cool but unless you have a really high quality fit and finish that is durable and tough, your better off making your own for 1/4 of the price. I'd love a high quality piece, but one made from 100% CF would be like buying a CF hood = roughly $450-500 That unfortunately is out of my price range[&o]

Why?? Just rip it all out. Rear seat if for insurance and a waste. Clean it all out and save 50 or so pounds of weight. That is the whole rear seat in general. Take it to a place that does custom interiors and they will run a capet liner that will look killer. Granted it won't look as perty as that nice rear leather seat, but you will save a lot of weight.

On top of that the rear seat deletes with the rest of the seat wrap looks horrible, that is why i am saying to rip the whole damn thing out.
