Default 96 GT misfire

I bought my 96 GT last year at about 44000 miles and as far as I know is a stock GT. Shortly later the check engine light came on. We plugged in a tester and found a misfire like we'd thought we could feel when you drove. Turned out antifreeze was leaking into the plug holes from a line above them. We blew them out and changed the plugs, fixed the leak and was glad it wasn't a cracked head.

Thinking the problem was solved, we took it out onto the highway for a 100 mile trip and the light came on and you could feel the misfires. we have taken it into the ford dealership multiple times and they haven't fixed the problem, they keep fixing things that go wrong but never the misfiring, it always happens again shortly after I leave; they've changed out an 02 sensor, which cost me 300 dollars and i've lost track of other things they've done to no effect. Yet the problem remains and as they obviously have no idea what is wrong, I was wondering if any of you have an idea.

Not yet, that's our next purchase, we resiliconed the old ones but one is frayed, so that could be it, but I was hoping to get an idea before I threw down the 115 for new wires.

WHen you get the misfire code does it not tell you what cylinder is misfiring? It should. I would change the plug wires. And stop taking your car to the stealership. They WAY over charge for everything and you are NOT getting better service going to them.

It sounds to me like it could be the wires thats happened with mine and when i changed the wires and plugs it was fine except usually when its a wire the engine stumbles on acceleration does yours stumble?
