i bought my 97 gt about 2 months ago..and i noticed the exhaust being louder than other 97 gt mustangs and even some newer gt mustangs..i was just wondering how can i find out if its stock or not..is there anyway that i car besides calling the dealership ?

well look at your mufflers. They should say Ford or Flowmaster or Magnaflow or something.

Keep lookin at your Mufflers, see if there is a name, or are your pipes stainless steel? Can you take a picture and post it?
