04 gt 3650 tranny stock clutch. under high rpms second gear grinds anyone had this problem only 13000 miles. its under warranty but will they cover it sense i have to drive the **** out of it to get it to do it

No problem yet here. But it will be under warranty of course. The problem is your synchros.

Hey man just to let ya know. I have the same thing and brought it to Ford before all my mods. I have heards tons of people complain about it this especially when the car is cold. It not the synchros. Its just a slight grind going into second no matter how efficient you are with the clutch. Its wierd up but nothing is wrong with your tranny. It may be an '04 thing.

My 01 does it. Its scary sounding. I know the guy that owned the car before me complained about it, and Ford installed new synchros and it must have stopped..But its going again and I have that "cricket" sound.. I am goin to have the previous owner of my vehicle take it back down to ford because the warranty is still under his name.

Bring it back to Ford and tell them that you know there is a Tech Service Bullitin on this trans, the 3650, and you want it fixed because its driving you nuts. It doesn't have to do it all of the time, its just got bad parts in there. Its TSB 04-15-6 on all 3650 trannys, good luck.

ford HAS to replace it, you are under the time warranty and the milage. Make a scene lol
