Default Dam this car!

I gots a 1998 Mustang GT with 60,000 on it now. I put NGK Iridium spark plugs in it, New plug wires, new fuel filter, changed the oil, and replaced the air filter. And the car still feels so weak compared to what it was like 2 and a ahlf weeks ago. I mean the car was running so awesome and so fast, but now it feels sluggish as hell. I reaplced all that **** and nothing. It made a little bit of a difference, but not like the car used to be. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Sounds like your just used to the car. My car felt soo much faster when I put in my 4.10`s, and now it feels slow as **** again because i`m used to the 4.10`s. [&:]

see if you can get it on a dyno and see if your butt dyno is tellling you right. if it has normal hp then i guess you are just used to the power. if its lower then somthing is wrong

Maybe the spark plugs, I remember some topics about changing types of spark plugs and then the car running crappy. I'd find out the type of plugs it originally had and replace with those. Just a suggestion.

Try going with a set of stock Motorcraft plugs, you might be suprised. For some reason these motors really like the OEM plugs, good luck.

it may be the plugs your stang uses platnum plugs use the factory ones or high end one's specificaly for your car make sure you do the same with the plugs. a friend of mine had seen me about to do the same thing you did and told me he used the same plugs and his f-150 ran like crap for some thing like a year. he finaly changed them again and the truck ran like new.when i used the factory replacements from ford my car ran fine but it was a lot more money for those parts. did your car run prerty good before you changed your plugs?

Check to see if the fuel filter is in correctly. There should be an arrow showing the direction of flow

why are you spending more money on fancy plugs, buy some new stock plugs and see if the car feels better. the heat range on the iridium plugs may not work with your engien mods.

Never listen to dumb teenager behind the counter at Craigin!!! lol
