You need a swivel and extension.

The 02 sensor gets in the way.

I removed the O2 sensors first, then sprayed wd 40 on the bolts.

If you can, get a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar, 12 inch extension, and a deep 15mm socket. Try to approach the nut as straight as possible. If you work at it you'll find the one spot where it works. One note: Support the rear of the h pipe as you remove the bolts, or have someone there to hold it up.

Good luck

All you need is an extension and swivel, what I did was use a 1/2 to 3/8 drive stepdown, 1/2 inch drive breaker bar, 3/8 15mm or 5/8 deep socket

fu** the starter. Disconnect the battery (so yo udont' shock yourself) and remove the 02 sensor... then the bolts will be easier to get at

if you can't get them out (stuck) torch them to glowing red and THEY WILL come out

i had troubles with those as well
