Default Engine fitment

I'm looking to replace the engine in my 2000 GT because it has a lot of miles and it's starting to have problems. I'm talking to a guy that has an engine from a 2003 GT for sale for a very good price. Now I know that they're pretty much the same engine. I'm just wondering if there is some tiny little thing that will make it not fit. And will it fit onto my transmission (T45)? Just wanna make sure before I put any money down.

You'll need a new flywheel, and if I'm not mistaken they went from an 8 bolt crank to 6 bolts... just a heads-up. It should work otherwise.

Awesome man thanks a lot. Oh and where would I go about getting a 6 bolt crank? Or do I just need some kind of adapter?
