C&L 80mm Maf System
Anyone tried the(C&L 80mm Maf System w/Trueflow Inlet Pipe for '96-01 Mustang GT 4.6L)? I heard its a great upgrade! Is it worth it? My car has the K&N filter charger kit on it, shall i got for it? 2000 5 speed gt. Thanks

no its not a good upgrade at all! Your stock maf is good until you get a blower then just get a Lightning 90mm maf for $79....the C&L uses air flow tubes to trick the computer to change for inj sizes. That worked on 5.0's but our MAF's are electronic and you can simply change the tune for new inj. The pipes are also metal and got super hot. I've had the BBK and C&L and ditched in favor of the Demolet CAI....they are a sponsor here so support them

i bought the same system and it worked awsome. it was so good that i just had to get more power so i got a supercharger i only used it for 1 1/2 months and now i can't use it. but it looked and worked awsome, my kit was $725 it came w/BBK 75mm throttle body, C&L plenum, powdercoated pipe w/80mm mafs i then added a diablo sport predator tune. this made a huge difference from stock. i am using the throttle body & plenum with my supercharger. the system is definatly worth the money.....
