Default MGW Shifter

Just put the shifter in tonight and let me tell you that it absolutely kicks A**!!! It's so much different then stock, not even comparable. For those of you debating if it's worth it, I would definitely say get it! It's worth every penny IMO.

Congrats, glad to see you like it. From what I've learned:

MGW = Most adjustable, 360 degrees (pretty useless [8D]) and some up/down capability

Steeda (what I have) = Only adjustable up and down between two settings, moving it down shortens the shift throw

Pro5.0 = Not adjustable at all

So the MGW comes out on top... any of them that you get though, you'll be happy with. If anyone out there is contemplating getting a new shifter, just pick one and go with it! They're all sooooo much better than stock.

i like my steeda only because of the firmness... the mgw is not as firm as triax IMO

I haven't felt an MGW shifter yet, have felt the Pro5.0 and it's sloppy compared to the Tri-ax, the tri-ax returns to center really well, it's pretty stiff. I like it.

Peoples complaints on the Tri-Ax are mostly about the notchyness. Steeda did that on purpose, so I guess everyone will like different shifters.

I actually like the notchy feeling of my tri-ax its kind of cool. Also what that other guy said about the shifter centering, I know what you mean. But the downside in my opinion is the 2nd to 3rd can still be messed up. Still way way better then stock.
