Default Where is the tranny fill plug 99 GT

changed out the rear diff today and was gonna do the trans but all I could find was the drain plug on r\h side.Cant find the fill plug. Also the diff took almost 2.5 qt instead of the owners manual 1.75 qt.Guess its like the motor oil being 5qt but really takes 5.5-6qt to fill it up.Thanks for any replys.....................Gary 99gt

the fill plug is usually right above the drain plug, around 6" away give or take a few

It will be a PITA to fill it through the fill plug. The easiest way is to pull off the shifter and fill it there.

there are pump siphons you can buy that you put one hose in the bottle of fluid and the other hose in the fill plug and pump it until it's full... that's what I did! works great
