Dont hold me to this but I think they are. As far as i know the SOHC and DOHC use the same block, just different internals, intake, and heads. I think it will work man.

Yes I'm not 100% sure but 99% that it will work because as Nick said, the block is the same just different intake, internal parts and heads so it should work.

I will back these guys up with a 100%. When I switched from SOHC to DOHC I used my SOHC Trans and bellhousing and bolted right up.

did you just have them reflash the computer or did you use the DOHC computer, b/c i am going with a Mark VIII DOHC in my 65 and im plannin on using the ECU from the Mark VIII and using a GT tranny and having it reflashed b/c they didn't come with manual transmissions in the Mark VIII

I did use the computer from the DOHC so I did not have to re flash. Did you get the engine already? If you didn't make sure you get the thermostat housing these are located off the engine on the Cobra's at least not sure if it is the same on the Mark VIII.

thanks, but i have been lead to think that i am going to have to get the computer reflashed b/c it was originally for a automatic transmission but i am going to put a T3650 5 speed so i would have to have it reflashed, or have i been mis-informed...
