borla sounds good but for just the catback it wasnt loud enough for me and the tips are freaking huge there like 4 inches or something. my friends car next to mine his tips look way bigger

to me, borla is too expensive for something that offers no performance gains.

I love borla but like albiz said the regular cat back isnt to impressive IMO you have to order the XR-1 12 inch or the stingers to get an impressive sound and yes u do buy exhaust for the sound and not necessarily for the performance. I have flowmaster 40's on my gt and plan on putting the borla xr-1's on it. I would tear the flows of in a second and throw them in the trash if I found a good deal on borla. As a matter of fact, anybody want some flowmaster?

I have an exhaust, and the entire point flew right over your head. maybe if you got a little more defensive over the borlas you'd make slightly less sense. if I hack off my cats and go straight pipes, my car is not legal to drive in any state in america unless there is one with no emissions and no sound ordinances that I'm not aware of.
read this really carefully:
it's not worth it for me to pay additional money for the most expensive brand of catback when it will give me nothing performance-wise over a less expensive brand, that is my answer to "why not Borla?". I paid about $500 for my catted midpipe and my catback, good luck finding anything borla for that price.
I don't think I can make the point any simpler. if you can't understand that, I feel sorry for you.

when i asked wat catback you had, i was trying to make a point that nearly everyone pays money for the sound (of whatever catback they get)
sure you can get some generi-co place to weld on some legal cats and then mandrel bent piping, which would be cheaper than buying a catback period
i was never asking for your opinion on borla, or any other brand in particular for that matter
so once again, before you go running your mouth about how nobody else makes sense, quit looking for oppurtunities to be a clown
