Default looking at a 2000 mustang GT

I'm sure I could search but I can't get it to work.

Its a 2000 Mustang GT 5spd with 73k miles for $9995
Link

Anything I should look if I buy it? I know nothing about mustangs. I'm just looking for a daily driver that I can drive to work 30 miles one way and for school. I do not plan on modifing it and do not want to buy a mustang that has been modified. Anyway to know if it has been modified?

Don't give me **** about MPG, never cared about it and people who own a v8 cars should not complain.

Anything I should look for while inspecting it? Is the price right? to many miles?

The miles are up there but they arent too bad. See if you can get a look at the exhaust tips (they'll have a brand name if its modded). That's usually where modding starts. The engine bay appears to be bone stock.

since its a five speed I'd check the clutch and tranny for that matter because a few guys on here have had problems with the transmition for that year car. but you should probably spend the 80 bucks to have your mechanic look at it anyways

I am, just got to find a mechanic that I can trust.

I was also looking at a 2002 with 53k miles for $13.9k. Sounded pricey but I think I could get the price down.

02 GT

Only thing I'm worried about on a used car is the clutch. I'm convince everyone can not drive a standard.

yes this is true but a clutch is an easy fix after a few beers to steady your hands

You eventually have to stop drinking to fix it. I usually just stand around get to drunk and send the car to a mechanic because I ran out of time.
