4.10 and tuner with shift firmness set at firm in your auto
for ppl with automatics that have 4.10s and a handeld tuner with the shift firmness set all the way to as firm as you can go do it hit 2nd to hard and bang off the rev limiter a little bit? every time my car slams into 2nd now even without the nitrous it bangs off it before shifting like its shifting to fast for the computer to recognize it. i liked the hard shifts but im thinking of just setting shifts 1-2 at stock and then leaving 2-3 and 3-4 set at firm because it doesn't do it there and i don't want the nitrous to puddle and go kaboom. just wanted to know if you guys noticed it in your cars. its either that or my tranny is going[] but i don't think its that.

I'd always heard firm shifts in an auto was better for the tranny and they soften it at factory so the shifts are more subtle for more feminine drivers
but hopefully it aint your tranny and it is your tune

Yea, just keep it on firm and either raise your rev limeter a bit or just lower the shift point, mine is set to 6050rpm limeter, 5700 shift point, and I havent had a problem with WOT shifts, stock gears though,,,,,,,

i had it as firm as it would go. i had the shifts at 5700 and the limiter was at 6050 but it still did it. i raised the rev limiter even more just in case and it didn't do it today. we'll see if it does it tomorrow when i go to the track and get a few runs in.
