WTF IS WRONG WITH MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright... I have a 96 GT with mods in my sig... A friend of mine has a 1999 v6 convertable automatic with CAI Exhaust and all the bolt-ons. We were bored and decided to race... I figured I would have him by atleast 2 cars...well we raced and he beat me by atleast 3 cars. During the race and after it my car was burning oil horribly... dark blue smoke so Im assuming its oil anyways...on my way home after loosing the oil was burning real bad through every gear just driving normal. I let it sit for about an hour or so started it up and now it only burns a little if any.... when Im driving good. Does anyone have any ideas as too what is wrong... O and if its makes any difference I just put a new intake on it because the stock one was cracked.

Sometimes, if you car begins spewing oil after a few hard pulls, it could be that your PCV is either stuck, or clogged, sending the crankcase pressure back through the engine into the cylinders...
Just something to check..

well his car is high 15s- low 16s depending on driver, yours is high 14s low 15s, he must have gears or have sprayed, cause you have a 96 so the gears would have helped alot

how many miles on it?
i have 113000 on my 97 and it's starting to use oil.. it's at the usage stage but you can't see it yet...
it may be time for a rebuild with upgrades or a motor swap, which is what i am planning myself

With a good driver the 97 GT can see mid 14's with those mods...
I think it's time to take the Chevrolet knock out of your signature!! You jinxed it!
Burning oil like that shouldn't absolutely kill your performance. I'd bet you have rings ready to fry if your head gaskets & top end isn't the cause of all the blue smoke.
