Default question about the Trac Control...please help!

hi mates...this is my second time asking the similar question regarding "tracking control" button in my 2000 mustang GT, automatic. the question is when i press the trac control button once, it shows me a green light with (off) and when i press it back the (off) light shuts off. i am little confused with tracking control activation button. i mean when it shows the green light saying (off) does that mean the trac control is activated or inactivated? cuz whenever i start my car i always have to press track control button in order to turn that green light on.............on top of the trac control button. and i dont feel any big diffrence while the track control is on or off.

Hey bro.. I too just started playing with TC.. When you start the car traction control is always on by default. So once you push the button and the light glows "off", then that means you can do burnouts, etc without the traction control cutting your power out.

well if it says trac off then I would assume traction control is off meaning you can spin your wheels freely.

when the light on the button is on, traction control is off.

the switch turns is for off, therefore any lights on the switch mean TC is off.

thanks alot folks....this is realy helpfull i apreciate!

matter of fact as I said having the trac control off doesnt make big diffrence on my car yet. I guess i cant spin wheels cuz of the brand new rubber, but once the tires are old they will do more burn-outs as most of you stated.
