Default need serious help, making big buy

hey. i need some serious serious help, i'm about to make a big buy http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...splay/460.html
but only i don't know how much horse it will add. if the link doesn't work, it is the shaker hood system, it comes with Aluminum Shaker Scoop - Die Cast Aluminum, Shaker Tray, Hood Appliqué (Applied to the Factory GT Hood), Ductwork, Mounting Brackets, Hardware Kit, and instructions. i really want to know if it's worth the money. so please help, reply as fast as possible, thanks.

you could easily spend that amount of money on something that will give u a lot more power than that hood, unless your doing it for the look, because it really wont give you that much performance wise, i say screw the hood, work on your exhaust from the headers down... if u want to do something with an intake, get the C&l truflow inlet pipe with the mass air meter... it will add more power than the shaker hood

I wouldn't buy it unless you absolutely adore the shaker and need to have it, it might get you 10hp get a o/r X pipe and magnaflow cat-back and that would be a much wiser investment. That's just an Idea but I'd do about 20 different things before a shaker.

I love the shaker hood. Someday I'll trade-in my GT for a Mach 1.

I wouldn't go with the shaker...you'll get about the same gains from a good CAI setup. If you just love the way they look and have to get one take a look at bashee's setup...I like this one a lot more than the one you posted. Good luck. http://www.haneymotorsport.com/BANSH...ERFORMANCE.htm

I'd say you'd gain about 10-13 hp and that kinda generous... you'd notice a difference, and they do look sweet.
