Default WHEELS: 10.5" CHROME-BULLITTS OR .......

Have a /99 Red matallic convertible with a white top. I am starting the search for wheels. I like the wide 9", 10.5" 17's being offered, often by Stage 3 Motortsports. Must be Chrome and so far it's Bullitts. However Stage 3 has a wheel on their site listed under the 4.6 section for wheels that has a more modern design. Could be a Cobra wheel but I am new and not sure what it is. Question is if this wheel is available in chrome and comes in 10.5" would it look OK on my '99? Looks a bit like an FR500. I really like the Cobra R's but they are not availablke in 10.5". Then again perhaps the car would look better with 9" all around with a 275 in the rear and corresponding height in the front? Suggestions/opinions please, Mark

Go with the 10.5 bullits and throw some big meats on 'em. That'll help you out in more than just the show dep. Wide tires on muscle cars is just...choice. =P

Yeah that's the idea, 315/35's and 275/40's! vThen a set of 4.10 gears to help turn them. Haven't found an answer about the Stage 3's as to their make up. Are they a 1 piece aluminum? Just aluminum centers and steel rims? I do want all aluminum to keep the weight down. The 5 spoke is a classic. Thanks!
