i am so dissapointed i got my car tuned today and dynoed on a dynojet. to my suprise i had discovered that what i thought to be 8 lbs of boost was realy only 6 lbs of boost. my dyno #s were embarising 231 to the wheels and 300 ft. of torque. i am so PISSED OFF . i have been looking a smaller pulley to replace the 6 lbs, i found a replacement but it is 11 lbs will this destroy my car or what. i was sure that i would of been a lot closer to 300hp. my mods are few i have BBK 75mm throttle body, C&Lplenum, C&L 80mm mafs & diablo sport predator. oh, i almost forgot and a powerdyne supercharger, my exhaust is mostly stock w/flow masters. last year i took off only 2 cats, leaving me with 4 more. i will be changing this soon. so do you think my car will handle 11 lbs of boost and will it destroymy aode trans.
There were some guys on this board a few months ago saying they run up to 12lbs boost. (400hp+). My opinion is that this is pushing it. By the way do you run an intercooler? With an intercooler you can exceed 10lbs. Without I would not dare. I run just in between 9-10lbs on my vortech and i dyno at 344 at the rear wheels. According to Vortech the 4.6 2V can handle 10psi savely.

SON U NEED TO GET URSELF A INTANK OR INLINE FUEL PUMP IF YOU DON'T WANNA BLOW UR THING AND ALSO BIG INJECTORS, WITH A GOOD TUNE THE POWERDYNE TOGETHER WITH A INTERCOOLER OF COURSE YOU CAN BRAKE THE 350+ MARK AND YOU CAN RUN UP TO 11 PSI WELL TUNE WITH NO PROBLEM JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO DETONATION AND GET A POWERPIPE THAT'S WHY UR LOOSIN BOOST

i don't know if they make a powerpipe for this cheep system. everything is so tight it would have to be a perfect fit. the pipe that they supplied is hard plastic . would i definatly need bigger injectors or can this be adjusted through the computer? if not what size would you recomend.. thanks

Two days ago I order a air to air Paxton intercooler from Summit racing. I paid $1400.00 for it. This model also fits Vortech chargers like mine. I do not know if it would fit a Powerdyne and I could not find anything online about a intercooler which would fit a Powerdyne either. Sorry.

DEPENDS ON UR APPLICATION BUT 42LBS INJECTORS WILL DO THE TRICK YOU CAN CONTROL INJECTORS RATE BUT IF THE ECM REQUESTS A CERTAIN FLOW FROM THE INJECTORS AND INJECTORS CAN'T DELIVERY IS USELESS SO IT DOESN'T MATTER IF U GET BIGGER INJECTORS THAT WHAT NEEDED, AND POWERPIPES CAN BE CUSTOM MADE AT ANY LOCAL SHOP JUST MAKE SURE IT GOES FROM UR SC UNIT TO THE TB AND THAT IS REALLY BIG AT LEAST 4"
