Default stock hp

i know that the 96-98 mustangs are suppose to have 215 hp and the 99-04's around 260 from the factory. are they getting these numbers from the flywheel or are they rwhp numbers? if they are flywheel numbers then what would be there rwhp numbers? thanks

the hp numbers advertised are usually at the flywheel or crank. to convert engine hp to wheel hp, multiply the hp by .85

I belive that manual trannies rob about 10% power, autos around 15%, and AWD cars something like 20-25%.. i think.

most 96-98 put down 180-190rwhp and 99-04 put down 220-230rwhp. I have seen some higher and some lower but that is the avg.
