I am running 15x3.5 fronts and 15x10 rears. As far as backspacing, I called Weld Racing to get the proper sizing.
Nice! I'm pretty sure that's about the look she wants. Although we might go with 15x8's in the front. Anyway, what tire size is that in the rear?

AND ABOUT THE WHITE LETERING.... SHE NEEDS TO MOVE ON.......
I did white lettering on my sportbike a couple of years back and i thought it looked really good, kinda racey. Not sure if any of the performance tires have raised white letters. I used a white paint pen to do mine, took a bit and really didnt come off, and looked pretty good, easy to touch up. Defenitely an old school look. Do it then post some pics.

New hood is on order, Bullitt side scoops are being painted and shopping for nitrous kits.

Thanks.

Hmm. This is a tough tire size to find street tires in. I'm looking at 315/45-15's or anything in that range. I may have to go down to 285 or 295's.
Any more tire ideas for me? Maybe I'll stop by Jegs on my way home today ...

After a little more research, I am looking at the BFG Radial T/A tires, I can get white letters, and 225/60-15 (front) and 275/50-15 (rear).

http://static.summitracing.com/globa...fg-67797_m.jpg

Wheels will be 7-8" wide in front, 9-10" wide in back, if 10" is not too wide for these.

I'm pretty sure she will like the sizes, but I know she would want wider in the rear if possible. I wont buy her drag tires, she needs something a little more practical, but this is not a winter car either.

Edit: Also, finding cool wheels with proper backspacing is kinda tough. I really like the Cragar 61's, or anything like our current bullett style. Still looking, I'd like to pull the trigger on this before the end of the month.

I run 15's on my 2001 GT.
Ok, so I did some calling around. I live near Columbus, so Jegs said we can try a couple things out. I'm looking at the Weld ProStars since nothing else looks like it will work.

Weld and Jegs was saying that even with a spacer up front, the calipers need some grinding work for 15's to work on my '01 GT.

code3GT, did you have to do anything up front?
