Default Advice

My engine is ripped down to the block right now.(pi swap) So I wanted to get a few mods out of the way. I ordered bbk longtubes. But now I know they won't fit on my car. I wanted to exchange for shorties but summit dose'nt have them in stock.

So what would be a good mod to do while its broken down. Are shorties really worth it?(should I find them in stock somewhere else). or should I look for cams or something else?

The company I bought the heads froms sent me two driver side heads. So I do have sometime to wait on mods to arrive.

96 GT auto.(only mods that I can justify by saying " we'll if I dont do it now, Im going to have to tear it apart again"
THANKS

Default RE: Advice

I would say camshafts would be something you could do while its apart, but thats about it. It will still be costly though. I can tell you one thing about the headers, really and truley, shorties on a 4.6 aren't gonna do much for you. Definately not worth it considering longtubes aren't much more and you've already got it apart. Just my .02c though, I already have longtubes.
