Default upgrades for best performance

hi guys i need some help and advice please. i want to boost the performance of my 4.6 02 convertible mustang.
i have added a cold air induction, chip and flow masters. i want to know if changing rear end from stock to 3.73 or 4.11 would be best and which manufactor makes the best, also i want to add x-pipe and should i go with or without cats and does it make a big difference either way, also which manufactor gives you the best performance for the buck, also thinking about changing the size of injectors would like to know if this is a good idea or not and what size should i go to if this is a good thing and lastly any other ideas would be helpful. thank you and i hope you can help.

Default RE: upgrades for best performance

Slow down there, buddy.

Something that long should require more than two periods.

a.) I would say 3.73's for a daily driver of if you plan to do FI.... 4.10's are said to be better for autos and 3.73's for the manual guys.

b.) Cats are said to lose you about 2-3 hp's, but you also don't have to worry about inspection/ being legal. Another downside is that catted X-pipes are more expensive. Parts shopper has a magnaflow SS catted X-pipe for $400....hard to beat.

c.) WTF? Why would you need bigger injectors on a basically stock engine... no no no!

d.) Pull that god damn chip off and do some real mods, cams, P&P heads, throttle body, intake plenum, gears, short throw shifter (or shift kit), new MAF, X/H pipe, headers... then when you're all done go get a custom dyno tuned chip, which will give you more hp and make your car run better than some generic chip.

Hope that helps... Damn I learned a lot from this site

The 4.11's will give you a better kick and the O/R X will sound better then a catted if you can get away with it. Don't need bigger injectors until you've got more air to go with the fuel.
