full bolt ons, slicks, gears and a tailwind
alright, let me be serious
if you went ahead and did lt's, xpipe, catback, cai, udp, cams, tuner, and slicks and gears you should be there. deep into the 12's if you get a better intake

The stock PI intake is actually pretty good. It makes decent low end power but still breathes plenty up top, at least for a factory manifold. There isn't a aftermarket manifold out there that can make a decent amount more power up top and still perform anything close to the stock PI intake down low.
You don't need slicks to get into the 12s either. Plenty of people have done it on drag radials with just full boltons (exhaust/intake/pulleys/gears/tune) and maybe a set of control arms.
With a set of cams added and a good driver it should be a consistant high 12s (12.9x) car.
Of course, you could just skip all that, and spray 100 shot with some drag raidals and 4.10s.

I think Code is gonna hit the 11's. If he can hit a 12.4 without suspension and DR's, then they are really going to make a difference. I say high 11's.

Not cheap, not worth it. Code has close to 15k in his old setup to run mid 12's. Even with all that work you're trap speed wont be that impressive, a good portion of the time will be made with suspension and launching. Stock LS1's might still give you a little trouble from a highway roll.

Nope. I am planning on going this summer, but I still need to get my control arms/subframes put in.

A full bolt-on gt, with 4:10's and some suspension mods with a good driver could see high 12's. It's not exactly the hardest hting to do. And why do people think the ls1's are sooooo fast?? I just don't get it, I beat a stock ls1 ss from a 3rd gear roll the other night. They're nice cars, but I reallly think people just think they are way too fast on this forum.
