Default bought a replacement intake .

Well i ordered my replacement intake because i think my oem one finally cracked. anyway seems like a pretty good deal comes with a thermostat, seals, o rings and the intake. tell me what you guys think here is a link to the site i got it from. http://www.northernautoparts.com/Pro...tModelId=11498

Do a search for the Ford settlement on plastic intakes. I don't know if it applies to you or not, but it'd be worth looking into.

Otherwise, I've had good luck with Northern, and that looks like a good piece. I don't know anything about the brand from personal experience, however.

i already got a 750.00 check from ford with a bogus reciept i made up the recall and refunds have expired already so no further luck on anyone getting anything from ford.

thats the exact one I got from O'reillys. It comes with the gaskets built in (they are pretty much o-rings). Just make sure to put some RTV around the coolant ports. Are you changing it out yourself? Also, it comes with a 195 thermostat I believe. If you want to go to a 180, now's the perfect time to do so.

DUDE dont replace the stock intake......go to livernoise motorsports and look up the PI intake adaptor. It will alow you to bolt on the PI intake to your older non-PI engine. Livernoise says the kit is worth about 25hp and it only cost about around 250-350 $ you get the new intake manifold and the adaptors in one kitand gaskets. !!!! sweeeeet deal if you ask me
