I'd say 3.73s, my friend had 4.10s in his '03 GT and it was a little much for me, but he loved it. It's really personal preference, either way 3.73s would definitely not be a "waste"

i would love to hear your explanation of how the top end would suffer with 4.10's, i'm sick and tired of hearing this crap! [:@]
Explain to me this... if you redline with 4.10's quicker than 3.73's, then how are they faster at top end? I never said that your gonna lose 20-30 mph on that. But IMO, 4.10's are a better choice because they give you really good pull... just depends on your preference. Some people are so hostile in here [sm=bangbang.gif]

If you want to see what your RPM's are gonna be with either the 3.73's or 4.10's... theres a really good calculator for that posted in the stickies. I would check that out if you know the tire size dimensions that you're running. This will give you a better idea at what you would be running at a certain speed. Like some have said on here... 4.10's are good if your interested in pulling off from a line and doing a lil racing on the low end, but your gonna suffer at the top end some. With 3.73's, you won't pull as hard off the line... but your gonna get a lil more top speed out of it. But honestly, not many people drive over 110 anyways so my choice would be 4.10's unless you plan on getting a supercharger. If you had 4.10's and a S/C, you will have a hard time putting all that power to ground without spinning like crazy. Hope this helps.

This crap!!! hahaha... you're right but you're wrong. You can achieve a higher top speed with 4.10's however it would take so god damn long to do so it would be unbelievable. A stock geared car would own badly a stock car with 4.10's from 115-135. So technically you're right... however you shouldnt be using 5th gear as an option... peak of 4th is really as far as you wanna pusjh your car. 5th gear is an overdrive...

So yes top end does suffer greatly...at about 110-115 with the 4.10 car has to shift into 5th gear while the stock geared car is still in 4th with about 1500 rpms left.

you can still do close to 200 mph with 4.10s, so your not gonna max it out with 4.10s either
