Who has/had these on their daily driver? How many miles are they good for with moderate track time on your daily driver? I'm at discounttiredirect.com and thinking about ordering these or my drag springs. Only thing stopping from the springs is what good are those if I don't have some sort of sticky tire?

Thier good man. I just used up a set that lasted me almost 40,000 miles. I rotate every other oil change. They work exceptionally well on the street as they are good for street racing.(oops did i say that outloud). They will definately hook at the track. Make sure you get the 555R's and not the 555. The R's are a little stickier. If you are wanting a Race tire then get the R's if not just get the 555's.

drag springs will help the car hook no matter what tire.. not saying it will hook with just springs and street tires but it will help.. well that is my two cents

Although I've never had them on the Mustang, I had them on the AWD, and I loved them... All grip, all the time..

Problem was, their tread wear rating was about as useful as sh-t.. They lasted me MAYBE 5 months..

Then again, I was probably burried in the Right Foot, since I had the extra capability..

ohhhhhhhhhhh. i didn't even go to the second page. here they are. i guess those are basically street tires with a 300 treadlife. guess i DO have to go with the Rs if i want traction. thanks mang.

I have the 555Rs but they arent on my daily driver. I have no complaints so far and they seem to be lasting decent. However my experience with the 555 was horrible, I'd never use them again.

the regular 555's are just a normal street tire (if I'm thinking of what you're thinking of). I have them. I don't have any complaints, I've beaten the living bejesus out of these tires for 20,000+ miles and they still look like they have a lot of life in 'em. decent ride, good cornering traction. decent in the rain.

I don't understand nick's post... the 555r's are a drag radial, right? if so, why rotate them?
