4.6l mustang cylinder failure
Hello,
I have a 1999 saleen with a 4.6L SOHC that is supercharged and I have had two motors fail at roughly 30,000 each on the same #3 cylinder with a chipping on the piston. Does anyone know if there has been an issue with these motors and do they come stock with forged pistons.Thanks

not forged, and if the tunes bad then yes you will blow somethin. what kinda power have you been pushing. and if you drive it hard, unforged will definitely blow sooner than later.

When you did the engine swap, did you replace the injectors?? Or at least pull them off to be cleaned??
What kind of plugs were you using??
