CAI question...
Do the CAI really make a difference?? I read so much about how the stock intake can even produce more HP than an aftermarket CAI? I just need some opinions on this.. is it worth my money?? can you actually feel a gain?

RE: CAI question...
I'm not sure what kind of CAI you guys have but mine did make a 8hp improvement on the dyno. But its really not even about the intake, its just good to get one to make things go smoother once you upgrade your TB and intake plenum. By itself its not that great of a thing.

RE: CAI question...
I dont know how many times this question has been asked but here it is again. A cold air intake will probably not give you any hp you can "feel", especially if you dont have any other mods. It will make it sound a little nicer. No one bolt-on mod by itself, aside from gears, nitrous, s/c or turbo, will give you a big hp gain. It is the sum of all the parts combined that increase the hp value in each part. Example, a cai on a stock car, 1-2 hp maybe, same intake on a car with full bolt on's would maybe give 10 hp. You are basically buying building blocks to get to your hp goal. So if you dont plan on adding any other mods to your car, save your money, dont buy it. It would be just for looks. If you are planning to bump the hp up, I would buy it just to get it out of the way, it is really the foundation of your build-up.
