what would happen if
hey, i have a 6-8 psi of boost from my current supercharger, i have just bought a 11 psi estimated pulley to replace my current one. my question is what would happen if i install this pulley and do not change anything from my current set up? which is stock injectors, a boost pump that is supposed to be good for 200 gph, a blowoff valve that came w/the kit, stock coil packs, and stock plugs & wires. would this be a disaster waiting to happen or what?

The only thing that struck me as odd was the stock injectors. You should definately upgrade those to 24# or 30#. Also, after you install the 11psi pulley get your car dynoed to make sure you are getting enough fuel out of the stock fuel pump.

that sounds like a great idea, i just had it dynoed last week and was very disappointed with my results , thats why i ran out and got the 11 lb pulley. at the time of the dyno they told me that i had a lot of leway as far as fuel adjustments and i was getting plenty of fuel w/6-8 lbs of boost. but i will definatly be on the dyno to make sure i will be getting enough fuel. thanks..

yeah, that sounds like a lean condition and detonation situation if i have ever heard one. Injectors arent that much and easier than a spark plug to replace. Then tune. Do you have enough adjustment for that pulley or do you have to get another belt?

i never though of that i realy do not have the adjustment with current belt.... i will have to finde another belt to fit, dam i had a realy hard time finding a belt to fit my existing system and it could be a bit smaller. i got it to be tight enough that it wont slip, but now no way will it fit. thanks, i'm glad i found out now than later.......
