My 8 hour X pipe Install Today
I bought an O/R x pipe figuring it would take 2 maybe 3 hours max. With two jack stands and three people little did i know It would take 8 hours. For starters it took forever to take off the first bolt on the drivers side. After some wd40 it came un done. On the passanger side i spend an hour and a half to take out one bolt that screws into the header. The one everyone says is a b*tch to get out. After that I managed to get my stock H pipe off. Only two of the sensors came off. The factory cross threaded the othet too. Anyways My x pipe does not sound good at all with magnaflow mufflers. It sounds like a boat. I bought a new seal from the factory for the passanger side headder and everything. My question is can some exhaust shop re thread my stock H pipe and install a new o2 sensor? Even if they did re thread the threaded my stock o2 hole will a new sensor even fit because of the bigger hole?

RE: My 8 hour X pipe Install Today
Im more concerned about the aftermarket pre cat o2 sensors i had to buy working right. Second after I get it checked for leaks and thirdly once i get the new bung installed in my stock one im sure I would appreciate it alot more. You dont hear all the moans and groans from the outside I can really tell a difference in the high end.
