How exactly did you go about cleaning it? I'm kinda hesitant to just start spraying around in there, lol. Mind giving me a few pointers?

Looks awesome dude!

Here is my process:

I spray down my engine bay with Ardex New Wave....its a degreaser. I load up everything with it. Then I use a power washer to spray it all off, avoiding the alternator/battery/anything else electical/coil packs etc....then I let it dry. After that, I spray it with a product from Ardex called Details...shines it up incredibly.

Nice work. There is nothing like a clean engine bay.

Damn dude that looks sweet. I need to clean mine, but like the guy above me said, I'm just a tad hesitant to spray anything liquid on my engine LOL

Well, i`ve had the car since it was new so it hasn`t been real hard to keep it clean.
I just need to wipe everything down with a damp rag first. Then I use a wax applicator and spray it with meguiars #40 and use it on all of the plastic and rubber parts. Turns out real nice as you can see. I also hear CD2 makes a good engine detailer as well but I haven`t tried it yet.

I like to leave mine nice and dirty to soak up all the oil leaks. [sm=alcoholic.gif]
