Intake manifold
Are they worth it? Before my friend bought a cobra he had a gt and after about 30k miles the intake manifold cracked. Does anybody know what kind of power I can get out of one? Nobody seems to know.

RE: Intake manifold
Unless you plan on reving the crap out of your poor G.T., you most likely will not notice a difference with a n/a motor. I wouldn't spend $700 plus of my own money on one. Even with a boosted motor, the hp/trq increases are in the upper stratosphere of the rpm range. I'd buy one for a competition drag car with tons of boost and a bullet-proof bottom end, but other than that, I think you could spend the $700 on something better suited for the street. JMO

No. There arn't any out right now that are worth it. The custom one featured in MMFF is about the only one I've heard of doing anything. It is supposed to be produced by some company, but who knows when if they do.
