Default Intake Trouble!?!?

I recently installed the Steeda CAI. That is the only thing I have on it right now. I have all the other parts sitting in my room, but haven't had the time to get them on. Anyways...After installing it, I've noticed the my bottom end has droped for some reason. I can't figure it out. Could it be running lean due to the increase in air flow? That's about the only thing that I can think of? Would a tuner take care of that problem? Please help.

In lue of sounding like a jackass, a vacuum leak will make it run lean. You don't need a re-tune for a cai. I'd just double check all (2) hoses and all (2) of my electrical connections.

Yea...that's what I was thinking too. I had a pretty good idea that it didn't have to be tuned, but I wasn't sure. I'll have to check on the tomorrow.

After you check the hoses, unplug the battery for 20 minutes and let the ECU reset. Some cars are sensitive to mods. I'm told '03 and '04s especially so. I had issues with the timing adjuster until I reset the ECU. Now, no issues at all. Good luck.
