Whats up people, I just bought my first Cobra. It is a 96 svt with several upgrades. When i cut my air on the temp runs around 3/4 of the way. With it off it runs around 1/2. Is this something i should be concered about or just the price you pay for comfort?

Im gonna say thats just the price you pay for comfort.. not to mention when your A/C is on it kills your hp.. drops you about 10-15...

I would try changing the water pump and thermostat. You have aluminum heads and if your car gets to hot you will warp the heads and need major work. My temp gauge stays in the middle if the air is on or not and I live in Georgia where it's in the 90s everyday in the summer.

I don't think it should go up that much. Better to get it checked out than risk it.
Congrats on the new ride[sm=ttiwwp.gif]
You mind if I ask how much you gave? I'll be in the market for a 96-01 Cobra in the next few years.
