Default $2500 for a 12 second timeslip!

I remember reading this somewhere on these forums. What is exactly would push you into the 12's. $2500 seems pretty reasonable, to drop a second off your quarter. I'm guessing exhaust work, cai, dr's, etc.

01 gt btw

A big shot of nitrous and some DR's will do it. But your car wouldn't last very long running like that.

Nitrous is cheap horsepower but in my opinion if you are going to brag about how much power you make or how fast your 1/4 times is, I am less impressed if the car uses nitrous.

The question I ask is "So what do you do when your superpowers go away?"

there arent any heads aftermarket made for any 4.6, the PI heads are THAT good from the factory. Hes referring to a port job. Lots of places sell cnc ported PI heads.

i was actually talking about aftermarket heads. like md said though, pi heads are just as good as any aftermarket heads when you get them p/p. i have the SHM Stage1 heads that are a little better than the pi heads. i picked up about 45-50rwhp with the head/cam/tune setup i have. did them all at once, so i can't really point out the hp gain from just the heads...
