Based on your picture with the tape measure, that's a 9" wide wheel. You measure from inside bead to inside bead.

I've never seen anyone squeeze a 10" rim on the front - without serious mods.

The best/most common size for 18x9 fronts on a 99-04 is 265/35/18. Most run 295/35/18 on the 18x10 REARs.

In my first picture you can see its 8 inchs to the end of the flat part on the inner rim. How many inchs is your 18x9 measuring the same distance?

you dont measure the inside of your rim well, just like the illustration shows you measure from beadseat to beadseat( where the tire seats). this is on the OUTSIDE of the wheel.

OK I have a Noob remark... I Have an 02 GT with the stock 17" Bullitt rims. I am however purchasing a set of Saleen or "S" style rims. I am getting 18x9 up front and 18x10 in the rear. I have gathered that the best setup for these rims are as follows:

265/35-18 - front
285/35/18 - rear

That is 25.3" Diameter on the front and 25.9" on the rear. I BELIEVE the stock tires run at 25.7". Will this cause real issues with the speedo? I am not concerned about gas mileage and such... just the coppers... hehehe thanks

Damn Man, who balanced your wheels?? sure is a lot of weights there. A sure sign of an warped wheel or a bad wheel/tire man!

Speed will be measured via the tranny powering the rear wheels. Your new rears are .2" larger than your stockers, so they will be travelling slightly less RPM/mile. (so the speedo will read slower than actual speed) Not enough to worry about though, tire diameter can change that much during the life of the tire just due to treadwear and inflation.
