I was recently told that cams would be pointless with nitrous. How can this be true? Does anyone else have an opinion on this?

Don't listen to that person anymore about Cams and nitrous...


Keep in mind, more air in, more power down, more air out... Defying physics usually ends up in failure...

EDIT: It's not that this person is very wrong... It's just common sense... Maybe w/ your modifications, you won't see much improvement, but down the road, if you get serious, and build something nasty, it becomes exponential...

Code, have you been to the track to see if your tires and suspension got you into the 11's? What jet are you going to use?

I would recommend NX 4.6 Plate system.. It gives a great equal distribution of the N02 and fuel.. I love it.. best 600 ive ever spent.. but when you start adding purge systems, bottle warmers, window switches, elec. press. guages.. it all gets expensive..

Not yet. I am waiting until I get a trailer. If I do the NX kit, I will use a 2 stage 200 shot and with the ZEX....a 175 shot.
