Assuming you removed the bolts, it might just be that your gasket sealer is causing it to stick. How hard are you pulling?

What do you mean you cant your shifter out of the tranny? There are 2 bolts that hold the handle to the nub on the trans, then there should be 4 bolts that hold the top plate and the shifter nub to the trans. The plate with 4 bolts usually has a gasket or is held down with gasket sealer/maker, so itll take a little bit of force to get it to break free from the trans.

I did this mod a while ago so I'm not too sure but dont the instructions tell you to put the shift handle back on to make pulling it off easier? If you've done everything in the instructions, which are well written, it could just be the gasket sealer. Go outside right now and pull!!!

It looks to be the lobes of a twin screw. I found it on another forum and liked it since I plan on getting a KB next year.

http://auto.howstuffworks.com/supercharger4.htm This shows how it's oriented in a supercharger like eaton or kb.

not sure which one it's from though

How's that shifter coming cottonseed?

its just sticking. move it left to right...and it helps to have the stock handle reattached to give you more leverage in going left to right. you just have to unstick the sticky gasket stuff and it takes a little while and a bunch of back and forth motion to get it done. patience my friend, patience.
