Default Short or LT headers??

I read a post where someone said that short tube hearders do the most for our cars.. and LT's we will not see much gains because we are a 2v engine and not a 3v or up...
so does anyone have any thoughts on this...

Default RE: Short or LT headers??

Shorties will not show much, if any improvement over the stock manifolds. I would do the LT's.

ok then the guy that said this...

I just spoke to the specialty exhaust shop where i had my SLP system done and they verify that LT's due to back flow will reduce HP on a 2V but are great on 3v and above and highly advised ST headers as the best solution expecially if you are going to a SC. The top exhaust engineer who fabricates a lot of there custom systems highly advised me against long tubes with the SC i am planning to install.

This is what i found out.

Buds Mufflers is all about custom exhaust and did an amazing job on mine, so I am going to move to ST very soon so I don't have the power loss they describe with a SC.
is full of bull $h!t?

ROFL. That guys is ummm retarded. Its the complete opposite. Shorty headers will do absolutely NOTHING for 2V cars. You HAVE to do LT's if you want to see some serious gains and not waste your money.
