Well, when i put mine on, i used some Toyota black silicone. It costs about 29.99 a tube, but i work at a FORD/TOYOTA dealership and i love the stuff. So i got it free. But i would recommend a black silicone of some sort, something for oil sealer. Then just put down a line around the shifter then tighten each one down just so it pushes the shifter down. then go around and tighten each one tight. Dont tighten one up at a time or it wont seal right. I didnt torque it down i just put enough to where i thought it was enough. Mine doesnt leak what so ever. I will have to remove it again bcause my King Cobra clutch going in.
