This is a personal preference, there is no right answer to the question.

I have a steeda short throw and like it alot, others have MGW and like it alot. Ebay usually has used ones and new ones for sale at good prices.

The installation takes 10-30 minutes depending on your skill level and breadth of your tool kit. there are multiple write ups, try searching for them.

I'd go with the the Steeda? I just put mine in about a week and a half ago and it's awesome. And installination is pretty easy. You're gonna need a gap gage though.

I have the mgw and I am very pleased, however steeda is quality as well. I say buy whatever one you can get a better deal on.

MGW, Steeda, etc. Pretty much the same. Anything is better than stock. The MGW you can rotate the handle 360 for the best fitment. My MGW is awesome.

Thats about the only thing the MGW has on the Steeda. I personally have the Steeda Tri-Ax and I love it works wonders over the stock shifter for daily driving and racing. Powershifting is a breeze now

I have had both the Steeda Tri Ax and the I have the MGW Blue Handle before they only offered the orange handle. I love the MGW. It is 10 time better then the Tri Ax. The 360 Degree rotation is an awesome feature of the MGW. I say go with the MGW.
