is my car chipped?
ok so.. i work at firestone.. i started working there about 4 months ago. about 2 months of working there.. i raced this guy that works there with a 95 mustang GT 5.0L. and i smoked him by 3 car lengths.. then about a month ago this srt-4 came by and wanted to buy some tires. so i mounted his tires on for him and he asked me "is that your stang?" i was like "yeah" then he goes. "you wanna run?" i just kinda laughed but he talked me into it. so we raced and i smoked him by 2 cars. ok then like 4 days ago. this other guy that works there owns a 2004 Nissan 350z. we raced and i got him by 1 and a half car lengths.
everyone there at the shop is saying that my car is chipped.. but i highly doubt it. i got it from a used dealership and they didnt say anything about a chip.
is a 2001 mustang gt faster than all these cars i smoked?

With your mods, your car is definitely capable of laying the smack down on those cars.
The 'chipped' comments you get from people is from the morons who don't know you won't get 30+hp from a chip & that other modifications exist..
I can't tell you how many times I've talked to people and they say "Yeah I have a cat-back & chip" and they believe they got 30HP from it.

What grade of gas are U using in your car? A normal Stang will run fine on regular 86 octane, but if yours is chipped it'll run like CRAP on regular gas.
On the other hand, if it's not chipped & you're running premium gas then your flushing money down the toilet
