Default just bought predator tuner.....

really can't tell a big difference.. but i installed tune.. then went back and changed parameters.. turn off o2 in back... now will that reset tune i installed? do i need to go back and reinstall tune????

again i did have my wife and kid in the car ...... which we never ride all together in the stang.....which could be why i didnt feel a bigger difference... 200 lbs

Once you install the predator tune, it`s in there untill you return the stock tune. If you just changed parameters then your fine.

It isn't a huge seat of the pants difference anyway, I use the factory hp tune and just set all the parameters myself, if you are running 93 then max out the timing and you will notice a difference, I run it at 4% over stock and I can still run 87 with a little more zip..... do a search to see how it does timing, it doesnt advance it in degrees like you would think, it advances it in percntage over stock, I set it at 4 in both rpm ranges and havent had a problem with 87

see thats what i wanted to do i always run 93.... but does it need to be dyno tested becuase i read you can fugg your motor up and i already have 109 K

You can advance your timing all the way and run 93 and have no problems. Just dont mess with the air/fuel unless you have the car on a dyno where they will adjust everything for you.

You should be fine. But if you hear any pinging (with timing advanced all the way) while accelerating, then you`ll have to retard the timing a bit, but i`m sure it`ll be ok.

where does it say his mods? if he has boltons there is no reason for a dyno tune unless he wants one. its not needed.
